Cased 48 piece 6 person cutlery canteen with turkey serving set, King's Pattern

  
Wonderful full table / dinner service cutlery canteen for 6 persons that includes serving spoons and a set for turkey / lamb. Housed in a light wood canteen that is lined with blue velvet and cream satin inside. The pieces have been made by various makers including Mappin & Webb and date to 1930's to 1950's. Except the dessert serving spoon, all items are in ornate King's Pattern in Georgian style, decorated with shells and scrolls in high-relief.

Box - 7.5 x 46 x 30.5 cm. 6 table knives - 24 cm. 6 table forks - 21 cm. 6 soup spoons - 17.5 cm.

6 dessert knives - 21.5 cm. 6 dessert forks - 18 cm. 6 dessert spoons - 18 cm. 6 teaspoons - 13.5 cm.

2 serving spoons - 22.5 cm. 1 dessert serving spoon - 23 cm. Turkey set - 23.5, 31.5 and 34.5 cm.

Some light wear to silvering and scuffing commensurate with age and use; scuffing to exterior of box and some staining to lining; this a harlequin set, so there are very slight variations between the pieces; some wear to ivorine handles.
