Denby Pottery, Derbyshire - Bokhara Pattern Tea Set, also known as Kismet in the US. A popular design by Gill Pemberton for Denby Pottery in 1967, the Bokhara pattern was discontinued in the late 1970s owing to production costs of this labour intensive, hand-painted range and, as such, pieces have become good collectors items. This small collection of the attractive (soft sheen) dark blue with fine green lines at the base, comprises: 1 Tea Pot, 1 Cream Jug, 1 Sugar Bowl, 4 Cups and 4 Saucers. Tea Pot Large: 19cm tall, 22cm handle to spout, 12.5cm opening, base 15.5cm.
Milk jug: 8cm tall, 11cm handle to spout, 7cm opening, 7.5cm at base. Sugar bowl: 7cm tall, 7.7cm at top, 7.5cm at base. Cups: 7cm tall, 11cm lip to handle, 7.5 opening at top, 7.7cm at base.
