Jesmond pattern silver plated canteen for 6 persons, 56 pieces circa 1924/5

  

Pinder Bros Ltd Sheffield cutlery set for 6 in Jesmond pattern. There are 56 pieces, 6 of the following, dinner knives, dinner forks, dessert knives, dessert forks, dessert spoons, soup spoons, teaspoons, fruit spoons, cake/fruit forks. There are 2 serving spoons. Knives have Stainless Pinder Bros Ltd Sheffield Stainless Steel on the blades.

All the forks and spoons have PB ALPIN EPNS A1 on the backs and (apart from fruit spoons) have reg number 708938 which I believe dates to 1924/25. This is a nice quality set in used condition no plate loss apart from a little bit of wear to some of the fork tines, there are some marks/scratches.

Provided in a deco style box (not the original box) a few marks/scratches the interior is in fair condition the fabric strap/stays are broken but the box does still stay open.
