SET OF VERY RARE OLD SEVRES pattern with UNBELIEVABLY RARE PIECES, by SHELLEY. OLD SEVRES pattern with GOLD TRIM, by SHELLEY, FINE BONE CHINA, ENGLAND. This set includes 28 pieces (not including lids). There are 8 salad plates (7 1/2), 8 saucers (5 1/2), 8 cups (3 3/8 across the rim and 2 1/8 tall), a butter dish with lid (7 across), small creamer (approxomately 3: across the widest part and 2 1/2 tall at the spout), small teapot, and chocolate pot (about 5 tall at the rim). The plates are all in excellent condition with only very slight wear and a few utensil marks on some of the plates. The plates all have the same birds in the middle. The saucers are similar condition but have a different pattern of birds in the center (but same birds on all the saucers).

One of the 8 cups has a different pattern of birds inside, but the other 7 are identical. The one cup with the other type of birds and 3 of the other 7 are all in excellent condition (total of 4 good cups).

One more cup has a chip in the rim but it is under the glaze indicating that it was probably done in the manufacturing process and it isnt where a person would drink from. The other three remaining cups have a hairline crack in them that makes them unsuitable for use, but still fine for display. The creamer is in excellent condition, and I have the lid to the sugar bowl, but there is no sugar bowl included here. The other 3 pieces all HAD issues which I have had professionally repaired by the masters and artists at the Boehm Porcelain factory in Trenton, New Jersey.

For the chocolate pot, the bottom is perfect, but the lid had one of the flanges (tabs that hold the lid on) broken off. The artists at Boehm rebuilt the missing piece. The repair uses a process that makes the pieces unsuitable for food or drink contact. Since the repair is on the lid, this pieces should still be useable.

Please examine the photo of the repair. I cant even tell which side was repaired and I know what to look for because I saw it before the repair. The teapot had a chip on the underside of the spout (see photo of expert repair). The butter dish had a line from the rim toward the center, stopping about where the L is in the word OLD of the backstamp.

Under VERY VERY close observation I can see where the repair was done, but its doubtful if anyone who didnt know where to look would ever notice. The lid to the butter dish is in excellent condition and never was damaged. Please dont expect me to respond to ridiculous offers.
